TURBT is a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and remove bladder tumors through the urethra.

Procedure

• Resectoscope inserted through urethra
• Tumor removed without external incision
• Tissue sent for biopsy

Recovery

• Short hospital stay
• Temporary blood in urine may occur
